flip

Why not just flip a coin to decide who to vote for?
-It has to be the same flip for everyone, or else it all washes out.

What's up with using baseball scores?
-We were looking for some random event that everyone in the United States could find out easily. The original idea was to use the coin flip for the Superbowl, but that seemed too far away from the following election for anybody to remember.

Is a baseball score really random?
-I'm sure someone will look into it. It doesn't really matter, as long as all FLIPpers pull the same way.

But I vote on the issues!
-Many issues are never addressed by politicians- such as who they really represent.

How can FLIP possibly change anything?
-Working inside the system is a long, hard slog. We respect everyone who is dedicated to creating change this way, and suggest that we all spend more time learning about our system of government and how it works (or doesn't).

But sometimes you've gotta work outside the system to get things done. We think that the random flipping of elections will disturb the powers in control of America in a way that no protest or third party possibly can. We feel that it is the only real power left to us, because at the national level the choices we are given are not real choices.

If we can get the big money out of politics, if we can get honest representation in Washington, if we can restore rational debate to the election process, then our vote flipping can end.
